Welcome to the holding page for The Wellbeing Farm, opening Autumn 2012

The Wellbeing Farm is an exciting development which we hope to open in Autumn 2012. Based on a farm in Edgworth (situated between Bolton and Blackburn), the Wellbeing Farm will be a purpose-built facility which will provide a fantastic venue for the following activities:

  • Corporate away days and team building events through the provision of conventional purpose built meeting facilities with full audio-visual facilities but with a rural twist!
  • Llama and alpaca trekking – we will offer a variety of treks including picnic treks which will make the most of the beautiful countryside and West Pennine Moors. After your trek, you will be able to relax in our purposely designed coffee lounge.
  • Party and events venue – a venue with a difference, we will offer a variety of children’s cookery and farm based parties which will include good quality, locally sourced food.
  • Country style cookery and butchery classes linked to the award-winning Whitehead’s Butchers – the farm’s original stable block is being converted into a purpose built cookery school and we will be offering a range of artisan cookery and butchery classes and demonstrations.
  • Courses – catering for a maximum of 15 people at a time and with a fantastic two-course lunch, we will be providing courses with a lifestyle and wellbeing focus with an emphasis on traditional rural crafts including willow work, basketry, clog making, floristry and flower arranging, work life balance, stress management and wellbeing workshops and weight loss.
